Memberships
MEMBERSHIP
There are three categories of membership: Junior (ages 3 and under 17), Associate (ages 17 and under 26) and Senior (age 26 and over). There are two types of membership: riding membership and social membership. Riding membership enables you to ride at any Calliope club fixtures or any PCAQ event. A social membership is for parents of children under the age of 18 years who do not wish to ride and any other member wanting to be involved in the club. The majority of membership fees are to cover the cost of insurance and the club’s affiliation with PCAQ. The small remainder goes towards the club’s yearly administration and maintenance costs. Fees are decided on at the Annual General Meeting each year. Club membership expires on the 31st of December and members need to rejoin each year. If you are participating in any pony club activities prior to sign on you should ensure you have renewed your membership.
FEES 2017 –
Riding members $135 ($115 for subsequent riders from same family).
Social members $45 ($40 for subsequent social member from same family).
